To enhance trust and transparency, I introduced a “Flood-Free” icon in multiple locations - as a feature callout on car cards (above), on the product detail page (below, left) and as a filter (below, right). I began by benchmarking competitors, analysing how leading platforms communicated vehicle conditions. Research revealed that visual indicators significantly improved user engagement and decision-making. After testing various formats, I found that a simple, universally recognisable icon was most effective. Placing it prominently on car cards ensured immediate recognition, while adding it as a filter improved search efficiency. This strategic execution not only increased confidence but also streamlined the browsing experience.

Meanwhile, highlights on the car detail page saw a 26% engagement boost, reinforcing trust post-click. The USP in the second fold (below) had the least impact at 21%, as users focused more on primary vehicle details.
